Definitely one of the best soul food places I’ve ever eaten at not just in Georgia, but in the entire United States!!!!!! Just know that you have never eaten real soul food unless you visit this restaurant. The best of the best. I ordered the mac n cheese, green beans and fried whiting w/ cornbread. I chose the banana pudding for dessert. 10/10 I RECOMMEND!

Hiring South Fork Soul Food for our event was easily one of the best decisions we made. Every single dish was delicious, fresh, and presented elegantly. Our guests are still talking about how you exceeded expectations on every level. It’s rare to find soul food that tastes genuinely homemade and flavorful. Although this was a last minute order on the day of the event they arrived promptly and set everything up beautifully, absolutely knocked it out of the park. We found our go-to caterer for all future events. Thank You South Fork Soul Food

We arrived just as they were closing up for the day. We had ox tails, ribs and baked chicken. Mac and cheese, green beans, black eyed peas and collards. Every single bite was divine and we devoured our plates. I cannot say enough about how good the food is.

I am a Jamaican girl and love our style oxtail but occasionally I want southern oxtail. I have tried many restaurants on the southside from College Park, Union City, East Point, Cascade areas and each time extremely disappointed. Today I am in Atlanta and googled Soul food near me and tried this restaurant based on previous reviews and pictures. Well OMG- this is the BEST soul food oxtail I have ever eaten. Pure deliciousness. And the portion was very generous. The restaurant was clean, the service polite and friendly. But my entire plate was good but the shining star was these oxtail and rice. Well worth my drive. I tried to call but the number kept going to VM, I am glad I took the chance and drove over here anyways. Definitely will return and definitely recommend. So affordable $25 verses other restaurants.

This was not far from Martin Luther King site. We ordered the fried fish, wings, Mac n cheese which was delicious, oxtail, pinto beans greens, yams, rice, peach cobbler. And I will say everything was tasty. The fish and wings are fried to order so you get it nice and hot. Dont expect a fancy place. This is a hole in the wall place serving some good old southern food. The peach cobbler was memorable. It was hands down delicious. The best Mac n cheese, creamy and well seasoned. I would definitely go there again. Plenty of parking and 2 seater tables.
